The Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) exam will be conducted in April 2, 2017 (Sunday) (Pen and Paper Based Examination) and on April 8 and 9, 2017 which will be a computer based examination. Candidates of JEE (Main) – 2017 have to apply online only.  It is important to note that there will be no printed application form for JEE (Main). The application forms will be available online at JEE (Main) website. The application format of JEE Mains 2017 will include AADHAAR Authentication under which the state of eligiblity will include. The state of eligibility will include the state from where the candidate has passed/appearing in class X11 or equivalent examination or state mentioned in the the passport. The nationality of the candidates can be Indian/OCI/PIO and Foreign, State mentioned in the Passport, Aadhaar Number, Aadhaar Enrolment ID,
Aadhaar Registration number, Passport Number, Ration Card Number, Bank Account Number, any other valid Government ID Number, Candidate’s Name, Date of Birth (DD/MM/YYYY) and Gender. It has to be also clearing mentioned for which subject and the course the aspirant is applying for. For example whether they are applying for JEE (Main) Paper – 1 (B.E. / B. Tech.). Only JEE (Main) Paper – 2 (B. Arch. / B. Planning), Only JEE (Main) Paper – 1 & Paper –2 Both, It is important for the aspirants to choose the mode of examination. The mode of examination will include Pen and Paper Based Examination or Computer Based Examination. The aspirants will need to choose their exam centres from the list of exam centres. Aspirants will also need to choose their question paper medium. The question paper can be English/Hindi/Gujarati.The personal details of the candidates will include the Mother’s Na,e, Father’s Name and the category of the candidates.The category of the candidates can include General/ SC/ ST/ OBC – NCL(Central List) State list OBC Candidates who are not in OBC – NCL central list must choose General. The state admission boards will verify the State OBC list separately.
