The JEE (Main) will also be an eligibility test for the JEE (Advanced), which the candidate has to take if he/she is aspiring for admission to the undergraduate programmes offered by the IITs/ISM Dhanbad. The candidates are advised to see the JEE (Advanced) website for information related to JEE (Advanced) at www.jeeadv.ac.in. JEE (Advanced) 2017 examination will be held on Sunday May 21,  2017. In 2017, IIT Madras was the organizing institute of JEE (Advanced) 2017. The application process for the IIT aspirants has commenced from December 1 and candidates will be able to apply online only through JEE (Main) website www.jeemain.nic.in. The online application process will start from December 1, 2016 onwards. The candidate who had opted for Computer Based Examination of Paper – 1 are required to select the date/slot after payment of Examination Fee. The candidate who does not select the date/slot, will be allotted the date/slot on random basis depending upon availability. It is important for the aspirants to note that the JEE (Main) 2017 offline exam will be held on April 2, 2017, results of JEE Main 2017 will out on April 27, 2017. The registration for JEE Advanced 2017 exam will be from April 28, 2017 to May 2, 2017. The registration with late fee for JEE Advanced will be done from May 3,2017 to May 4, 2017.The admit cards for JEE Advanced exam will be available from May 10, 2017 to May 21, 2017. The paper-I will commence from 9 AM to 12 PM while Paper-2 for JEE (Advanced) 2017 the exam will be held from 2 PM to 5 PM. The candidates are advised to ensure that their AADHAAR card has correct details of their name, date of birth & gender as per school records.
