This year JEE Main 2017 will be the fifth JEE which is going to be conducted by the JEE Apex Board for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programmes in NITs, IIITs and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions etc. It is a two tier examination and the exam is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). CBSE will conduct the Joint Entrance Examination, pen & paper based examination on April 2, 2017 and the computer-based examination will be conducted on April 8 & 9, 2017.Also Read - NEET 2021: Check Exam Date, Syllabus, Application Form, Exam Pattern and Latest Update Here

The online application process has started from December 1, 2016 and according to the latest circular from CBSE, the last date of online application has been extended till January 16, 2017 and the fee can be paid by January 17, 2017. So, candidates are advised to fill the application form soon, as only two days left for the application process to end. And the correction of application will start from January 25, 2017. Aspirants should note some important point for filling up the application form. The application process consists four stages. The first stage is the registration process. Then the online application will start and the applicants will have to enter all the genuine details and submit. In the third stage, the applicants will have to upload scanned images of their photograph, signature and thumb impression in a prescribed format. In the last stage to complete the application process, the applicants will have to pay the application fee. The fee can be paid through debit/credit card or an e-challan of Canara Bank/ Syndicate Bank/ ICICI Bank/ HDFC Bank. An acknowledgment slip will be generated on successful payment of application fee.
