New Delhi, Mar 13: The admit cards for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2018 have now been released. Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Monday released the admit cards on its official website – jeemain.nic.in. The candidates who are appearing for the JEE Main 2018 exam can visit the official website and download their admit cards. It was reported that CBSE would be releasing the admit cards around March 10. Later, as per the reports, it was supposed to be released in the third week of March. Contrary to the reports, CBSE made the admit cards available earlier, much to the relief of the students. Candidates who have applied for the JEE Main 2018 examination would be required to provide their details such as their application number and password for downloading the admit cards. The admit cards can be downloaded any time now till the date of the examination. The admit card carries details of the examination center as well as the reporting time schedule. JEE Main 2018 Admit Card: Steps for downloading
- Visit the official website – jeemain.nic.in
- Click on the already activated link which reads ‘Download JEE Main 2018 Admit Card‘
- Enter your application number and password
- Enter security code and submit to log in to your account
- Your admit cards will be displayed
- Download the JEE Main Admit Card 2018
Candidates appearing for JEE Main 2018 are advised to download the admit card from the official website as admit cards would not be sent to their mail ids. JEE Main 2018 offline paper would be conducted on April 8, 2018 and the online mode of the same would be held on April 15 and 16, 2018. At least 11 lakh students have registered JEE Main 2018.
Students need to have at least 75 percent in Class 12 to be eligible for JEE main or advanced. While students falling in the SC and ST categories, must have a minimum of 65 percent to be able to sit for the exam. JEE Mains is the gateway for securing admission in the top notch Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT), National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) across India.
