JEE Main Result 2018 Date: CBSE to Announce Results on April 30 at results.nic.in

JEE Main 2018: The results for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2018 which was conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Monday, will be announced on April 30. The results of the JEE Main 2018 will be released on the official website- results.nic.in. Students may keep a check on the website- results.nic.in for latest updates. Over 12.43 lakh students appeared for the offline JEE exam while 2.16 lakh students appeared for the online exam. The CBSE announced yesterday that the results will be declared this April 30.

Steps to check your JEE Main 2018 Results:

  1. Log on to the website- results.nic.in
  2. Click on the relevant link which will be active on April 30.
  3. Enter your details such as roll number etc. and submit.
  4. Your result will be displayed on the screen.
  5. Download your result and take a copy of it for future reference.

CBSE would also release the official answer keys for the JEE Main 2018 before the declaration of the result. The official answer keys will be released on April 24. The Board will also allow the students to challenge the answers of the answer key and will declare the result only after analyzing all the challenges posed by the students. Students who will qualify the JEE Main 2018 Exam will appear for the JEE Advanced 2018 on May 20, the online registration for which will commence from May 2 onwards. Only the top 2,24,000 students will be allowed to sit for the JEE Advanced exam.

Prior to all this, CBSE had also announced the process of correcting forms for the JEE Main 2018. Applicants could make the desirable changes through the online process. JEE Main 2018 also made headlines a few days back when there was a report stating that at least seven to eight questions were identical to the ones in a mock paper released by Narayana Coaching institute some two years back. However, the CBSE took cognizance of the matter and later issued a statement denying the report.
