This year, National Testing Agency has organised the exam. This year, two major changes have been made to JEE Mains examination, suggest reports. The first change pertains to ranking of students. For the ranking of students, their NTA score would be taken into account. This NTA score would be arrived at after calculating a candidate’s percentile from the total of his marks obtained at all stages. This way, the ranking of candidates would be arrived at. In case two candidates have the same percentile, the one with a higher percentile in Maths, Physics and Chemistry would be considered to be at a higher percentile. This is meant to curb foul play and cheating, said reports.
