JNU Admissions 2024: Register For Undergraduate, COP Courses; Merit List On Aug 21

New Delhi: The Jawaharlal Nehru University(JNU) has commenced the registration process for the Undergraduate and Certificate of Proficiency programmes for the academic year 2024-25. Candidates can fill up the application form till 11:50 PM on August 12, 2024. However, the aspirants can edit the particulars of the application form between August 13 to 14. The first merit list will be announced tentatively on August 21, 2024.

The University offers admissions in UG and COP Programmes (B.A. (Hons.) in Foreign Languages, B.Sc. Programme in Ayurveda Biology and Certificate of Proficiency programmes) for academic session 2024-25 through Common Universities Entrance Test CUET (UG)-2024 in School of Language, Literature & Cultural Studies and in School of Sanskrit & Indic Studies. • Online Submission of Application Form – 2nd August to 12th August, 2024 (up to 11.50 PM of 12th August, 2024)
• Correction of particulars of Online – 13th to 14th August, 2024 Application Form on website only
• Publication of First Merit Lists for Admissions – 21st August, 2024 (Tentative)
• Pre-enrolment registration and payment – 21st to 23rd August, 2024 of fee with blocking of seats of First List (Tentative)
• Publication of Second Merit Lists for Admissions – 27th August, 2024(Tentative)
• Pre-enrolment registration and payment – 27th to 28th August, 2024 of fee with blocking of seats of Second List (Tentative)
• Publication of Third Merit Lists & Supernumerary Seats for Admissions – 31st August, 2024 (Tentative)

“No viva voce examination will be held for admission to B.A., B.Sc. and COP programmes. The candidates are admitted on merit on the basis of their performance in the Computer Based Test (CBT) and the deprivation points added to their score in accordance with the approved Admission Policy and Procedures of the University,” reads the information bulletin.

How to Fill JNU Application Form?

• Visit the official website of Jawaharlal Nehru University(JNU) at https://jnuee.jnu.ac.in/.
• On the homepage, look for the link,”Registration form for UG, COP and DOP are live now.”
• Depending upon the course, click on the registration link.
• Register yourself on the portal.
• Fill up the application form by providing personal details, and educational qualifications.
• Upload the necessary documents.
• Pay the application fee.
• Save, Download and take a printout of it for future reference.

Candidates can login with their CUET-UG Application Number and Date of Birth as Password. The candidate should supply all the details while filling the Online Application Form and is also required to create a PASSWORD and choose Security Question and enter his/her Answer. After successful submission of the personal details, Application number will be generated and it will be used to complete the remaining Steps of the Application Form and will also be required for all future correspondence. For subsequent logins, the candidate will be able to log in directly with the Application Number and created Password.
