The Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) has declared the results for the class 10 or Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) supplementary exam 2017 today at the official website or The  SSLC supplementary results will be available at the official website.  This year approximately 2.42 lakh students appeared for the supplementary examination of which 50.81 per cent passed (1.23 lakh students). The annual SSLC exams 2017 had commenced on March 30. Approximately  4.69 lakh boys and 4.07 lakh girls appeared. The result was announced by the Minister for Primary and Secondary Education Tanveer Sait.The SSLC supplementary exams were conducted in June for candidates who could not clear the SSLC 2017 exam, results of which were released on on May 12 this year. There were a total of 8.77 lakh students who sat for the class 10 state board exams. Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board came into existence in the year 1966, has been conducting SSLC and other examinations. The board regulates and supervises the system of Secondary education in Karnataka State. It executes and governs various activities that include devising of courses of study, prescribing syllabus, conducting examinations, granting recognitions to schools and, providing direction, support and leadership for all secondary educational institutions under its jurisdiction.
