KVS Class 1 Admission 2024-25: The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) will begin the registration for Class 1 admission for the academic year 2024-25 from April 1, 2024.

KVS Class 1 Admission 2024-25: The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) will begin the registration for Class 1 admission for the academic year 2024-25 from April 1, 2024. Parents and guardians must fill out the KVS Class 1 application form at kvsangathan.nic.in and https://kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in/ within the stipulated time. The online registration will commence today at 10:00 AM. “Online Registration for Admission to Class-I in Kendriya Vidyalayas for the Academic Year 2024-25 will commence at 10:00 am on 01.04.2024 (Monday) and will close at 05:00 pm on 15.04.2024 (Monday),” reads the official website.

KVS Class 1 Admission 2024-25: Kendriya Vidyalaya Class 1 Age Limit

A child must be 6 years old for Class I as on 31st March in the academic year in which admission is sought (Child born on 1st April should also be considered.) The minimum and maximum age limit for admission in Kendriya Vidyalayas in various classes is given below: (A child born on 1st April should also be considered.).

• Class -I 6 years but less than 08 years of age.
• II 7 years but less than 09 years of age
• III 8 years but less than 10 years of age.
• IV 8 years but less than 10 years of age.
• V 9 years but less than 11 years of age.
• VI 10 years but less than 12 years of age.
• VII 11 years but less than 13 years of age.
• VIII 12 years but less than 14 years of age.
• IX 13 years but less than 15 years of age.
• X 14 years but less than 16 years of age.

• Last date of Online Registration for Class-I: 15.04.2024 (Monday) 05:00 PM
• (a) Declaration of provisional lists of selected and waitlisted registered candidates: 1st Provisional List on 19.04.2024 (Friday)

KVS Class 1 Admission 2024-25: Kendriya Vidyalaya Class 1 Documents Required

For Class I, certificate of proof of age in the form of a birth certificate issued by the authority competent to register births. This will include certificates from Notified Area Council /Municipality / Municipal Corporation extract about the date of birth from records of Village Panchayat, Military Hospital and service records of Defence personnel. For other classes, the date of birth recorded in the transfer certificate issued by a school recognized by the State Education Department would be accepted. The original certificate of date of birth should be returned to the parent after verification. Admissions up to classVIII may be granted without any school transfer certificate provided the child is otherwise eligible and his birth certificate has been issued by a Govt. body.

In order to ensure smooth and quick filling of the application form, please keep the following ready:

• a valid mobile number with Indian SIM card,
• a valid email address,
• a digital photograph or scanned photograph of the child seeking admission (JPEG file of size at most 256KB),
• a scan copy of the child’s birth certificate (JPEG or PDF file of size at most 256KB), details of government certificate in case you are applying under economically weak section, transfer details of parent whose service credentials will be used in the application.
