Garima Lohia was born in the Buxar district of Bihar. Her father was a businessman. He died in an accident in 2014 when Garima was in Class 12th. Her mother had always dreamed that her daughter would become an IAS officer one day, and because of Garima’s determination and hard work, that dream became a reality.
Garima Lohia finished her schooling in Buxar and graduated from Kirori Mal College, Delhi University in New Delhi with an Accounting degree in 2020.
