Mumbai, April 2: The results of Masters in Computer Applications Common Entrance Test (MCA CET) 2018 would be announced by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra on April 3, Tuesday. Steps to check your MAH MCA CET Results 2018:

  1. Visit the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra’s official website-
  2. Click on the link directing to the home page and then click on the MCA Results link which would be provided on the home page.
  3. Login using your roll number and your result will appear.
  4. Download the results and take a printout for future reference.

The MAH MCA CET examination was held on March 24. Students clearing the examination would directly get admission to the second year of the three-year MCA course in the state. Marks obtained in the MCA examination would be valid for both government and private institutions but the process of admission for the latter would be a bit different- that is through Centralised Admission Process (CAP). The students who would be clearing the exam, would have to fill a separate application form; which would be out in May. Candidates filling in the CAP form would have to register themselves on the DTE Maharashtra’s official website- Once registered, a login ID would be generated and hence candidate may fill the form. The charges for application form for general category is Rs. 800, Rs. 600 is for the reserved and also for the Maharashtra’s PWD categories candidates. While a sum of Rs. 5000 will be charged from students belonging to the Non-Resident Indians (NRI), Persons of Indian Origin (PIO), Overseas Citizen (OCI) and Foreign National.
