Maharashtra State Board declared its HSC Supplementary 2014 exams results  on November 25, 2014. The  exam was conducted between the months of September 26, 2014 and October 11, 2014.  Nearly 1.30 lakh students had appeared for the HSC or class 12 examination. Maharashtra Board conducts assessment exams twice a year for HSC and SSC which comprises of regular exams in the months of March/April and supplementary exams during the months of September/October.

The Maharashtra Board of Secondary Education standardizes the system of Intermediate education in Maharashtra. It was Set up in 1965 under the Maharashtra Secondary Education Act, 1965.
