The results have been declared for the SSLC and HSLC Arts stream examinations, 2015 conducted by Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE), today, May 25, 2015 at 10.00 am on the official website of MBOSE. The SSLC class 10 results have recorded 53.11 pass percentage. A total number of 46,726 students had applied for the SSLC examinations 2015, out of which 45,867 had appeared for the exams. A total number of 24,360 students have cleared the exams. A total number 24,458 girls had appeared for the exams and 21,409 boys had appeared for SSLC exams 2015. The HSLC Arts exams 2015 has recorded 71.84 pass percentage. A total number of 21813 students had applied for the exam and 21261 students had appeared for the exam. A total number of 15273 students have cleared the HSLC exams out of which 877 students have scored first division in HSLC 2015 exams. Meghalaya Board of School of Education was first started in the year 1974 as per the The Meghalaya Board of School Education Act, 1973, to regulate, supervise and control school education in the State of Meghalaya, India. The primary duties of the Meghalaya Board are to recommend the syllabus, propose rules and specify courses of instruction and textbooks, teaching by correspondence courses, recognition of higher school and higher secondary schools in Meghalaya.
