Lucknow, April 8: The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) is all set to introduce the negative marking system in its examination. UPSSSC Chairman Chandra Bhushan Paliwal said that the notice for negative marking has been issued in the aspiring candidates’examination scheme already. However, this proposal of incorporating the negative marking scheme has been sent to the state government for approval. Once approved, it will be applicable for all the examinations conducted by the UPSSSC. The latest development in marking pattern in the UPSSSC examination is being touted as a huge change.

The recent changes suggested, will be applicable to the posts related to Gym instructors and Regional Youth Welfare and Regional Development Team Officer. UPSSSC Chairman Paliwal added that taking such a step is for the welfare of the students because then the latter would only answer questions they know and not end up marking answers for the heck of doing so.

Last month, UPSSSC had announced nearly 652 vacancies for regional youth development officer posts. The registration for these posts started on March 13 and will continue till April 17. Interested candidates may apply for the same on the official website- Interested aspirants must have a graduation degree from a recognised university and the age limit for the same lies between 21 years to 40 years.  Out of the 652 posts offered, 42 are for the gym instructor post.
