The results of the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) 2017 have been declared at the official website or or After getting the approval from the Supreme Court, the CBSE has already released the answer keys and OMR sheets for the students who appeared for the exam on May 7, 2017. The students who clear the NEET  entrance exam  will be eligible for medical admissions. It is important to note that the results will be calculated based on marks, age and categories. CBSE chooses percentile method for those who want to take admission in dental/medical colleges. It is important for the students to note that result would be calculated based on marks, age and categories. For checking the NEET results on the percentile method for NEET will be calculated by two methods which are marks based and on the basis Of Rank. For marks based evaluation, it will be done on the basis of marks. For example if a student has scored 295 in NEET and 396 is the highest score obtained by topper of NEET, then the percentile of A will be calculated as are follows 295 x 100/396 = 74.49. Another method which can be done to calculate NEET 2017 rank is by evaluation of percentile on the basis of rank is somewhat difficult in comparison to the first one. In case the students have scored rank 50 in NEET and appeared students are 6,00,000. Then the percentile will be [600000-50)/600000] X 100 = 99.99. For qualifying the NEET UG exam, the students will need to get 50 percentile to secure  admission to Medical/Dental colleges. This year National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) has been organized by Central Board of Secondary Education.
