Ahmed Shayan cracked the Joint Entrance Examination(JEE) Main on his first attempt with a 99.9649 percentile. Hailing from Lucknow, Shayan, a 17-year-old is a student of ALLEN Online. He is also set to appear for his CBSE Class 12 exams this month.

When asked about his dream IIT or course, Ahmed Shayan told IndianExpress.com, “I don’t have any preferred institute as of now, but I am sure about pursuing electrical engineering.” He also shared that he was passionate about computers during childhood, but over time, his interest gradually faded. “I believe I have learned more than the basic skills,” he added. At present, he is preparing for JEE Advanced.

Shayan, a day scholar, chose regular schooling over dummy schools and credits his school teachers for their support in his JEE Main journey. “My decision to not choose dummy schools was good. It helped me with time management and was able to manage both school homework and coaching studies. It was after school that I had my online coaching,” Shayan was quoted as saying by IndianExpress. Shayan secured 95.6% in CBSE Class 10. As per media reports, he scored 100 percentile in Physics.
