NEET PG 2024 City Allotment Slip: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is set to release the Exam City allotment details for the NEET PG 2024 today. Candidates can check their test city allotment details via email. The official announcement said that these details will be communicated individually to all NEET PG registrants and will not be accessible on the official website (natboard.edu.in). Aspirants are urged to keep a close eye on their email inboxes for this crucial information regarding their test city allotment for the upcoming NEET PG 2024 examination.
The exam city slip is only to inform the candidates where their test centres will be located. The name and address of test centres and other details will be mentioned on the admit cards. Originally scheduled for June 23, the NEET PG exam was postponed to August by the Health Ministry.
The official notice stated, “Pursuant to the receipt of preferred test city choices, the test city allocated to candidates by NBEMS shall now be communicated to all concerned candidates through email on 31st July 2024 at their registered email IDs.” It added, “The test centre venue in the test city allocated shall be intimated through admit card, which shall be released on 8th August 2024 at NBEMS website.”
The eagerly awaited admit cards for the postgraduate medical entrance examination are set to be released on August 8. Candidates will receive their exam city slips, containing crucial details about the test centres located in 185 cities. The NEET PG exam, originally slated for June 23, was rescheduled by the Health Ministry and is now scheduled for August 11, to be conducted in two shifts.
Authorities will randomly allot exam cities for NEET PG from the four choices provided by candidates. Those who did not specify preferences will be assigned a test centre anywhere in the country. Due to various reasons such as overcapacity, logistics, administration, or security concerns, some candidates may not receive their preferred centre. In such instances, a test centre in the nearest available location will be allocated to ensure a smooth examination process.
