New Delhi: With no official update as to when the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences(NBEMS) will release the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) exam schedule, media reports suggest that the NEET PG examination is likely to be conducted in August. Candidates can download the NEET PG exam schedule 2024 by visiting the official website at https://natboard.edu.in/.
As per the Indian Express report, the NEET PG examination is likely to be held in August. President of NBE, Dr Abhijat Sheth, has told The Indian Express that the fresh date for the NEET PG examination will be announced “hopefully before next weekend.”
The Board was scheduled to conduct the medical entrance examination on June 23, however, it got postponed just 10 hours before the commencement of the examination. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare postponed the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) Examination and said that a fresh date will be announced at the earliest.
“Taking into consideration, the recent incidents of allegations regarding the integrity of certain competitive examinations, the Ministry of Health has decided to undertake a thorough assessment of the robustness of the processes of the NEET-PG Entrance Examination, conducted by the National Board of Examination for medical students,” the ministry statement read.
“It has accordingly been decided, as a precautionary measure, to postpone the NEET-PG Entrance Examination, scheduled to be held on 23rd June, 2024. The fresh date of this examination will be notified at the earliest,” the ministry added.
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences is expected to release the NEET PG Exam schedule anytime soon.
