NEET PG Exam Schedule 2024 To Be Announced Within Two Days: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan

New Delhi: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences will announce the NEET PG Exam Schedule 2024 anytime soon; candidates can download the same by visiting the official website at https://natboard.edu.in/. NEET-PG 2024 shall be the single eligibility cum entrance examination for admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses for the academic session 2024-25.

Fresh date for NEET-PG to be announced within two days: Pradhan

The new schedule for NEET-PG will be announced by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) within the next two days, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said on Saturday, PTI reported. “The date of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, Post Graduate will be announced by the NBE in one or two days,” Pradhan told reporters in Panchkula on the sidelines of Haryana BJP’s extended state executive meeting.

The syllabus for the exam shall comprise of subject/knowledge area as per Graduate Medical Education Regulations issued by the erstwhile Medical Council of India with prior approval of the Govt of India. It is to be noted that the NEET PG examination was scheduled to be conducted on June 23; however, it got postponed as a precautionary measure. The decision has been taken by the Government in the best interests of the students and to maintain the sanctity of the examination process.

Water Bottles/ Eatables are not allowed inside the exam centre except for Diabetics/Pregnant ladies who may be allowed to carry small amounts of simple sugar/ food items in transparent pouches after verification. Avoid tattooing your fingers with henna/colours to avoid difficulties in finger biometric-based registration for the examination.  Maintain silence and discipline during the examination. Carry supportive medical documents should you need to use medicine/ medical assistance devices inside the test centre. Use of Face Mask shall not be allowed inside the exam centre unless supported with medical documents.

Representatives from the Federation of Resident Doctors’ Association (FORDA) met with Union Health Minister J P Nadda to discuss important issues in medical education, including the postponement of NEET PG. The Minister assured prompt resolution and announced new exam dates, pledging a transparent and fair process.
