New Delhi, Mar 8: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has come out with a notification, asking all open school and private candidates to submit their details to appear in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-UG 2018. The step follows Delhi High Court’s stay on debarring of all such candidates from appearing for the exam. Also Read - Schools Likely to Reopen in July For Senior Classes With 30% Attendance

This covers all the students of National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), open schools from states and private candidates belonging to the state and central boards. The High Court had, last month, also stayed the CBSE’s notification regarding the upper age limit and other eligibility criteria for NEET. The exam, to be held on May 6 this year, is conducted by CBSE for admission to MBBS/BDS courses in medical/dental colleges run with the approval of Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India. Students can apply online till March 9. Those appearing for their boards would get about a month’s time to prepare.
