NEET UG 2019: The correction process in the application form of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2019 will begin from next week, announced the National Testing Agency (NTA). The correction form of NEET 2019 application will be made available from January 14, 2019, onwards, said NTA. Candidates are requested to keep checking the official website for the link that will be available for making the required changes in the NEET UG application form.
Upon the request of candidates, NTA has promised to clear the discrepancies faced while uploading passport size photograph or signature. A mail has been sent in this regard to all the candidates who have requested for it. Moreover, only those candidates who have made the respective corrections in the application forms before the due date will be allowed to take the examination.
NEET UG 2019 is an offline exam where the candidates are required to fill the answers in OMR sheets. A total of 180 objective type questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology will be asked for the NEET UG 2019. The NTA is conducting the NEET 2019 for the first time instead of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
NEET is conducted for admission to undergraduate (UG) medical courses like MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BNYS, BUMS, BSMS and BHMS. After the exam results are announced, a merit-list will be prepared by the NTA. Candidates will get admitted into various medical colleges under the Dental Council of India (DCI), Central Council for Indian Medicine (CCIM) and Medical Council of India (MCI) based on their merit.
