NEET UG 2024 Counselling: MCC Round 1 Choice-Filling Process Underway; Seat Allotment Result Next Week

The NEET UG Seat Allotment Result will be declared on August 23.

New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee(MCC) will conduct the NEET UG 2024 counselling choice-filling process from August 16 to 20, 2024. Meanwhile, the choice locking will be available from 04:00 PM of August 20 up to 11:55 PM on August 20. There will be four rounds of AIQ online counseling i.e. AIQ Round 1, AIQ Round 2, AIQ Round 3 (earlier known as AIQ Mop-Up Round), and AIQ Stray Vacancy Round.

All candidates who have qualified for All India Quota seats on the basis of their rank in NEET UG conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) across the Country. Eligible candidates may download the Rank letter/ Result from NTA website. The mcc.nic.in will host the NEET UG 2024 Counselling registration link.

The MCC NEET UG Seat Allotment process will commence from August 21 to 22, 2024. As per the schedule, the competent authority will declare the NEET UG Seat Allotment Result on August 23. Check the important dates below.

1. Registration/Payment: 14th August, 2024 to 20th Aug, 2024 (up to 12:00 NOON) only as per Server Time Payment facility will be available up to 03:00 PM of 20th Aug, 2024 as per Server Time
2. Choice Filling/Locking: 16th Aug, 2024 to 20th Aug, 2024 (up to 11:55 P.M of 20th Aug, 2024) only as per Server Time
3. Choice Locking will be available from 04:00 P.M of 20th Aug, 2024 upto 11:55 P.M of 20thAug, 2024 as per Server Time
4. Processing of Seat Allotment: 21st Aug, 2024 to 22nd Aug, 2024
5. Result: August 23
6. Reporting/ Joining: 24th Aug, 2024 to 29th Aug, 2024

NEET UG 2024 Counselling Reporting/Joining Date

It is also mandatory for candidates to physically report at the college along with the original documents so as to confirm the allotted seat. No other person in place of the candidate shall be allowed to submit the documents for taking admission on the behalf of the candidate. Candidates can report to the allotted institute and colleges from August 24 to 29, 2024.

ROUND-1(AIQ/Central Institutes/University/AIIMS/JIPMER/DeemedUniversity/AMU/BHU/B.Sc. Nursing)

• Main counseling Registration which will include payment of Non-Refundable Registration fee and Refundable Security Deposit (to be refunded only in the account from which payment has been made).
• Exercising of choices and locking of choices during choice filling/ locking window to be done as per the schedule
• Process of Seat Allotment Round-1
• Publication of result of Round-1on MCC website
• Physical Reporting with original documents at the allotted Medical/Dental College against Round-1 (Candidates who have been allotted a seat in round one can opt for willingness to upgrade from round 1 to round 2 for which they will have to physically report with original documents at the allotted college.)
