MCC NEET Counselling: The NEET UG 2024 Counselling is expected to begin soon. Earlier on July 11, the Supreme Court adjourned the hearing for July 18 a batch of petitions alleging paper leakage and malpractices in the NEET-UG 2024 examination. The Central government filed an affidavit in the case denying any mass malpractice in the NEET-UG 2024 examination. In its latest affidavit, the Centre told the apex court that the data analytics done by the Indian Institute of Technology(IIT) Madras shows that there is neither any indication of mass malpractice nor a localised set of candidates being benefitted leading to abnormal scores. It also has said that counselling will be conducted in four rounds starting from the third week of July, ANI reported.
The Centre’s fresh affidavit said experts from IIT Madras have found that the marks distribution follows the bell-shaped curve that is witnessed in any large-scale examination indicating no abnormality, PTI reported. A bell curve describes the shape of data conforming to a normal distribution.
There will be four rounds of AIQ online counseling i.e. AIQ Round 1, AIQ Round 2, AIQ Round 3 (earlier known as AIQ Mop-Up Round) and AIQ Stray Vacancy Round.
