New Delhi: The Ministry of Education, Government of India, will announce the ninth edition of the NIRF Ranking 2024 today, August 12, 2024. “India Rankings 2024 will be released on 12th August 2024 at 3 pm,” reads the statement on the official website. The NIRF Rankings 2024 are set to be unveiled at 3:00 PM during a press conference headed by Dharmendra Pradhan, the Union Education Minister of the Ministry of Higher Education.
Once again, the Indian Institute of Technology(IIT) Madras continued its dominance as the best higher education institution in the country as it secured the top spot for the sixth consecutive year. Meanwhile, IIT Delhi secured the second position.

The ranking framework evaluates institutions on five broad generic groups of parameters of teaching, learning and resources, research and professional practice, graduation outcomes, outreach and inclusivity and perception. The ranks are assigned based on the total sum of marks assigned for each of these five broad groups of parameters.
