NEET-UG Result Date 2021: Students who were waiting with bated breath for the NEET result 2021 will have to wait a bit longer as the National Testing Agency (NTA) reopened the second phase registration window on the official website---neet.nta.nic.in. The application filing and editing window will remain open till October 26 up to 11:50 pm. Consequently, the result would be released only after the application process i.e, post October 26.

"On receiving numerous requests from the candidates, the National Testing Agency is opening the window for filling up of the second set of information correction/modification of the particulars of the first and second phase of online application for NEET (UG) 2021," NTA said in an official notice.

Step-by-step guide to check NEET Result 2021

  • Visit the NTA NEET result website ntaneet.nic.in
  • Click on the link that reads "View NEET-UG 2021 -Result" (the link will be activated after the declaration of result)
  • On the login page, enter the required credentials (roll number, DOB, security pin) and hit submit
  • The NTA NEET Rank Card 2021 will be displayed on your screen
  • Download it and take a print out for future reference

NTA NEET 2021 Cutoff

Candidates need to meet the minimum qualifying criteria as set by the NTA for admission to India's premium medical colleges. General or unreserved (UR) category candidates have to score at least 50th percentile in the exam, while those belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC need to obtain 40th percentile.

NEET exam 2021 was conducted by NTA on September 12 with stringent measures amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Nearly 16 lakhs aspirants had registered for the NEET exam 2020. Out of total registered aspirants, Over 85-90 per cent of 15.97 lakh candidates appeared in NEET 2020 exam.
