NWR Railway Recruitment 2025: The North Western Railway (NWR) has released the applications for the recruitment for the year 2025. The organisation has started accepting applications on Friday, i.e., October 3. The candidates need to be less than 24 years of age to become eligible with the ITI Certificate. The selection process aims to fill 898 vacancies. What is the eligibility?
Students must ensure they have a National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the particular trade, as issued by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) or by the State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT). They should also have scored at least 50 per cent in Class 10.
In addition, the applicants should be less than 24 years of age to become eligible. As per the norms, age relaxation of up to 5 years may be given to the candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories, up to 3 years to those who belong to the OBC category, and up to 10 years for those who have benchmark disabilities (PwBD).
What is the selection process?
The process of selection will commence with candidate shortlisting on the basis of their marks in class 10 and the Industrial Training Certificate (ITI). Furthermore, the merit list will be prepared division or unit-wise, trade-wise, and community-wise.
