About OPSC: The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) is the state agency authorized to conduct the Civil Services Examination for entry-level appointments to the various Civil Services of Odisha. Recommendations of the Royal Commission on superior services in India, 1924, referred to in short, as the Lee Commission, and now they find place in the Constitution of India in Articles 315 to 323. The Odisha Public Service Commission was constituted on 1 April 1949 after its bifurcation from the former Bihar and Odisha Joint Public Service Commission. Eligibility Criteria for OPSC Recruitment 2016

Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be 21 – 32 years as on 01-01-2016 (i.e he/ she must have born not earlier than 02-01-1984 and not later than 01-01-1995). Age relaxation is applicable to Govt rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess MBBS or equivalent Degree from Medical College or Medical Institution recognised by the Medical Council of India with valid registration certificates under the Odisha Medical Registration Rules 1965 and required conservation certificates recognised by Medical Council of India (MCI) in case of candidates having Degree from University of Foreign Countries.

Selection Process for OPSC Recruitment 2016

Candidates will be selected based on written test & career making.

Application Fee: Candidates should pay Rs. 300/- through challan (pay in slip) at any branch of State Bank of India (SBI). Candidates belonging to SC/ ST of Odisha and PWD are exempted from payment of this fee.
