This year, a total of 29.50 lakh students appeared for the Hindi paper. Out of these, 23.76 lakh students could pass the examination with the pass percentage for Hindi paper recorded at 80.54 per cent. UP Board secretary, Nina Srivastava said, “There cannot be any specific reason for such a large number of students failing in Hindi. Apart from Hindi, at least 23.95 lakh students appeared in the English exam and of these 18.93 lakh students cleared the exam. The pass percentage for the English paper was recorded at 79.09 per cent. Meanwhile, in Math, 14.09 lakh students successfully passed the paper.
In the Social Science subject, 29.50 lakh students had appeared in the paper of which 23.75 lakh passed the exam.
The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) declared the UP Board Result 2019 for Class 10th and 12th on Saturday, April 27. The secondary and intermediate results 2019 were announced at the Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad head office in Prayagraj around 12.30 PM.
In total, 58, 06,922 students had registered for the Uttar Pradesh Board examination 2019. Of the total students, 31, 95,603 students are from high school and 26,11,319 students appeared for the UP Board 12th exam this year.
