PSEB 12th Result 2018: The results for the Class 12th examination was released by the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) today. This year too, girls outperformed boys. The pass percentage for girls remained at 78.25 percent while the pass percentage for boys was 60.46 per cent. Girls from Ludhiana topped the academic list with Puja Joshi from Teja Swantantra Senior Secondary School scoring 98 per cent and Prachi Gaur in the sports category from the same city scoring a 100 percentile.

The second position was secured by Vivek Joshi from Teja Swantantra Senior Secondary School with 97.55 per cent. Meanwhile, Jasnoor Kaur from Dashmesh Public School for Girls, Muktsar secured the third position.

A total number of 3,00,417 students appeared for the Class 12  exams this year out of which 1,98,199 students have passed. The pass percentage for regular category candidates is 68.42 per cent while for the Open School candidates it is 40.07 per cent. The overall pass percentage for Class 12 exams this year is 65.97 per cent.

  1. Log on to PSEB official website- pseb.ac.in or examresults.net.
  2. Click on the link to the class 12 board results 2018.
  3. Enter your roll number and other relevant details.
  4. Download the result and take a print out of the same for further purposes.

Over 31,364 students appeared for the Class 12 examination state wise. At least 26, 643 students from the Commerce stream took the examination out of which only 84.95 per cent passed. While in Arts, a total number of 1,38,643 passed the Class 12 examination.The pass percentage for Class 12 stands at 65.11 per cent.
