In order to apply, a general category/OBC candidate should have scored at least 55% in post graduation (wherever post-graduation is a requirement); for SC/ST/PwBD, candidates should have scored at least 50% marks in their post-graduation examination. Meanwhile, wherever graduation is an essential qualification, the general/OBC category candidates should have scored at least 60% marks; a minimum of 50% marks should have been scored by SC/ST/PwBD category candidates.

Candidates should also note that they will have to pay an application fee while applying for the exam. General, OBC, PwBD (general/OBC) candidates have to pay Rs 600; SC, ST, PwBD (SC/ST) candidates, on the other hand, will have to pay Rs 100.
