RRB Group D Exam 2018: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the official schedule for the Group D Exam 2018 on September 6. The Computer Based Test (CBT) is set to commence from September 17 onward, while the online mock test of the same will take place from September 10. Interested candidates can take up the online mock test for the recruitment of level 1 posts, based on the 7th Central Pay Commission (7CPC).

On September 9, the details such as the exam date, city and shift will be informed to the candidates. Before the CBT is conducted, call letters for the exam will be released four days in advance. The exam will place for a duration of 90 minutes. Candidates will be asked to solve a paper with a total of 100 Multiple-choice type questions. They will lose one-third marks for every wrong answer.

Candidates can download their call letters from the official website www.rrbcdg.gov.in once they are released.

Qualifying candidates will be called to take up the PET exam or stage 2 of the exam. The dates of stage 2 exam will be released after the results of stage 1 are declared. As per the latest notification in the RRB’s official website, the section-wise marks for CBT’s syllabus has been explained in detail.

The Ministry of Railways in a tweet said that over 47 lakh candidates appeared for the Group C’s ALP and technician recruitment exam, registering an overall attendance of nearly 76 per cent.
