Mumbai, October 27, 2016: The State Bank of India has declared the result of SBI Clerk Mains Exam 2016 for JA and JAA posts. The result is declared at the official website sbi.co.in. The result was long-awaited and now it has been declared by the bank after much delay. Indeed it is a Happy Diwali for candidates who have been waiting for this result for over three months now. It was being conjectured that SBI would not release the results before November but to a great Diwali surprise, the country’s premier national bank, SBI has declared the results for Junior Associates (Regular and Backlog Vacancies), Junior Agricultural Associates as well as Junior Associates (Special Drive for Tur (Meghalaya)/ Kashmir Valley/ Ladakh). Candidates can check the results by logging in to the official website sbi.co.in. The State Bank of India (SBI) has further notified that it would soon upload the marks obtained by the candidates. Candidates are advised to keep their admit card handy as they would have to enter their registration number and password to check their result online. By entering the details candidates can check the result online at the official website of State Bank of India.
The SBI Clerk Mains Exam 2016 was conducted on June 25 and 26. Around 3 Lakh students appeared for the exam and were waiting for the result. Candidates can now check their score and section-wise cut-off by entering the required details and the result link activated at the official website of SBI. The sections from which questions were asked in SBI Clerk Mains Exam 2016 include; General Awareness, English Language, Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude. Candidates can also visit the official website of State Bank of India and click on the Careers section. Thereafter, they would have to click on the relevant result link which will be displayed by the name ‘Result of SBI Clerk Mains Exam 2016 for the recruitment of Junior Associates and Junior Agricultural Associates’. Upon clicking the activated result link, candidates need to enter the required details such as the registration number, date or birth and password. By clicking Submit button, candidates can access their result. It is recommended to save the result and take its print for further reference.
The bank will not dispatch the hard copy of the score card and also intimate the successful candidates via sms. Candidates need to download the result from the official website and save it. SBI conducts recruitment exam for various posts every year. In the year 2016 as well, the bank released the notification for the recruitment of clerks. The result of Probationary Officer Mains was announced earlier. The interview for the Mains is scheduled to be conducted shortly. The interview status of the SBI Clerk Mains Exam 2016 is yet to be confirmed by the Government of India. After clearing all the stages of the selection process, candidates will be absorbed as a successful clerk in the reputed public sector bank of India, the State Bank of India (SBI).
