State Bank of India

The State Bank of India (SBI) may release the results of the Probationary Officer (PO) Preliminary Examination 2025 soon. Lakhs of candidates nationwide are awaiting for it. The results will be published on the bank’s official website, sbi.co.in, in the upcoming weeks. While the exact release date is yet to be confirmed, the results are expected in August or September 2025.

According to the official notification, candidates will need to log in using their registration/roll number and either their date of birth or password to check their performance and download their scorecards.

Examination And Recruitment Process

The preliminary exam, held on August 4, 2025 which was the first stage of SBI’s highly competitive three-tier recruitment drive to fill 541 vacancies for probationary officers this year.

The selection process involves three stages:

• Preliminary Examination
  

• Mains Examination
  

• Interview and Group Exercises

Candidates who score at or above the prescribed cut-off marks in the prelims will progress to the next round. Results will be declared after normalisation of scores to ensure fairness across different exam sessions.

Check the steps mentioned below to download the SBI PO prelims result 2025 from the official website:

1. Visit the official website of the State Bank of India at sbi.co.in
2. On the homepage, go to the ‘Careers’ section.
3. Select the link for “SBI PO Prelims Result 2025 / Scorecard.”
4. It will take you to the login page. Enter your Registration Number/Roll Number and Date of Birth/Password.
5. Click on the ‘Submit’ button.
6. The scorecard will be displayed on the screen.
7. Verify all details like name, roll number, sectional marks, overall marks, and qualifying status.
8. Download the scorecard and take a printout for future reference.

Cut-off and Scorecard Details

SBI has confirmed that while the prelims results will be released first, the cut-off marks a crucial benchmark for qualification—will be announced a few days later. Only candidates meeting or exceeding this cut-off will move forward to the mains examination.
