New Delhi, Oct 08: Sticking true to its promise, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has declared the SSC Combined Graduate Level CGL Tier I exam 2016 results today, November 8, 2016. The result can be checked on the official website of SSC, ssc.nic.in. Candidates can also check the cut-off and merit along with the score. Many candidates appeared for the SSC CGL Exam 2016 and were waiting for the result. The exam was conducted on August 27. Candidates can follow simple steps to check the result. The Staff Selection Commission’s Chairman Message released in October had stated that SSC CGL Tier I results would be declared today.

Candidates appeared for the exam in 43 Batches. The exam was conducted in different slots starting from August 27 to September 11 in 415 venues. 96 cities across the nation had centers of the exam. At Srinagar, candidates appeared for the exam on September 25. As per the reports, 14.99 Lakh candidates appeared for the exam. 38.04 lakh candidates had submitted their applications out of which only the eligible candidates got selected. Steps to check SSC CGL Tier I Result 2016 :
1. Log on to official website of Staff Selection Commission
2. Click on the activated link that will be displayed by the name as SSC CGL Tier 1 Result. The result link is activated at the result page.
3. Now click on it and you will be redirected to a new page
4. In this page, you need to fill your details like roll number, date of birth etc.
5. After submitting the details you will get your result on screen
6. Then you will see your results.
7. Click ‘Save’ to Download and ‘Print’ to get your Printout.

Every year, SSC conducts recruitment exams and declare the result on time. This year as well, the Staff Selection Commission has declared the result of CGL Tier I exam which can be checked at the official website without any delay. Candidates may note that the website can be down for some time due to heavy traffic. Candidates should not get anxious and reload the page after some time to check the result. SSC will conduct the CGL Tier 2 exam from November 30 to December 2. In a notification released on October 14 on the official website of the Staff Selection Commission, the Commission had stated that the result of combined Graduate Level exam is November 8 (tentative). Candidates can check the result without any further delay. Candidates should enter the essential details such as their roll number, date of birth etc to check the status of their result.
