Staff Selection Commission has declared the result of SSC CGL Tier I Exam 2016 at the official website Candidates who have qualified the Tier I Exam will be eligible for SSC CGL Tier II Exam 2016, which is going to be held from November 30 to December 12. A notice released by the Chairman of the Staff Selection Commission at SSC’s website says that the final result of the SSC CGL 2016 recruitment drive will tentatively be released by the end of April 2017. It means SSC will end up the SSC CGL 2016 Recruitment till April 2016.

SSC has successfully completed the SSC CGL Tier I Exam in Computer Based Mode. The SSC CGL Exam was conducted from Aug 27 to Sep 11, at Srinagar on September 25,while the re-examination for the aspirants of Second Shift (Batch-II) on Aug 28 was conducted on Oct 27. Out of 38.04 lakh registered candidates, approximately 14.82 lakh candidates in 44 Batches appeared in 96 Cities across the country. On the basis of CGL (Tier I) Examination, 2016, number of candidates provisionally qualified for different papers of Tier-II are:-

Paper-I and II : 1,49,319 (Total candidates)
Paper-III: 28,234 (Only for posts of Junior Statistical Officer (Grade-II)/Compiler)
Paper-IV: 45,293 (Only for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer in CAG)

The Admission Certificate of the Qualified candidates will be uploaded on the websites of the respective Regional Offices approximately 10 days before the conduct of the Tier-II. However, the candidates who are unable to download their Admit Cards, may contact the concerned Regional Offices at least 7 days before the commencement of the examination. The responsibility of ensuring the download of the Admit Cards is vested in the candidates.
