SSC GD Constable 2018 Registration Begins on Official Website ssc.nic.in; Application Submission to Commence From August 17

SSC GD Constable 2018: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on Thursday began t0he online registration for the GD Constable on its website- ssc.nic.in. The registration has begun for 54,953 posts for the following posts- of Constable (General Duty) in Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), National Investigation Agency (NIA) and Secretariat Security Force (SSF) and Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles.

Students must note that the submission of application will begin on August 17. The last date for the registration of SSC GD Constable 2018 is September 17. The notice on the official website reads, “In the meantime, the Commission has for the convenience of the candidates resumed the facility of One-Time Registration, on its website i.e. www.ssc.nic.in w.e.f. 14.08.2018, wherein candidates can start registering themselves as per procedure given vide Notice dated 22.07.2018. However, as indicated above, the facility for submission of online applications would only re-commence from 17.08.2018 at 10 AM.”

Further, candidates must see that the minimum educational qualification required is that an individual should hold a degree of graduation or diploma or 10th pass from a recognised board or educational institute. To qualify for the exam, candidates will need to pass the Physical Efficiency Test, Written examination and Medical Test. Also, the candidates need to be well prepared for the written test in subjects like- General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics and English or Hindi.
