Chennai: Cyclone Gaja has affected the academic schedule as well and Anna University has declared that the exams scheduled for its affiliated colleges will be postponed.

The postponed exams will now be held on December 15, said a press release. Meanwhile, exams for university departments will be held as per schedule, said reports. The university departments whose exams would be held as per earlier schedule are College of Engineering, Madras Institute Of Technology, School of Architecture and Planning and Alagappa College of Technology, in Chennai.

The Directorate of Technical Examinations has also announced that tests for all polytechnic colleges which were scheduled for Monday will be postponed to December 16.

See the varsity notification for yourself.  Earlier, university exams for all the colleges affiliated to Tamil Nadu Dr Ambedkar Law University scheduled on Friday and Saturday were cancelled but the university was yet to announce the dates on which the postponed exams will be conducted.
