TRB TN Recruitment 2025: Apply for 1996 posts at trb.tn.gov.in; Check eligibility criteria, last date

The Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB) has officially invited applications for Post Graduate Assistant, Physical Director Grade – I & Computer Instructor Grade – I job by launching a recruitment drive which aims to fill 1996 available teaching seats. These jobs are in School Education and other Departments under the Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Educational Service. All interested candidates can apply for the same through the official website of TRB TN – trb.tn.gov.in. The application process started on July 10 and will close on August 12. Candidates can make changes when the Board opens the correction window on August 16. However, the examination will be conducted on September 28, 2025.

TN TRB launches Recruitment Drive: Eligibility Criteria

  • The maximum age limit for general category candidates is set at 53 years.
  • While the maximum age limit for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Class Muslims, Backward Classes, MBC/DNC category is set at 58 years.
  • Additionally, age limit for candidates from Destitute Widow category is also set at 58 years irrespective of their caste.

TN TRB launches Recruitment Drive: Marks & Exam Pattern

In order to get selected, candidates must keep in mind the following details.

  • All candidates must clear two mandatory tests: Objective Type (MCQ Based) and the main subject test.
  • The objective exam will have 30 questions and will carry 50 marks. The duration of this exam will only be 30 mins.
  • It is to note that marks for this exams will not be considered for ranking

The fee for this examination is Rs 600 per application for all unreserved candidates. Fees for those belonging to SC, SCA, ST and differently abled category is Rs 300 per application. It is to be noted that online payment will only be accepted when paid through the Payment Gateway (Net banking / Credit Card / Debit Card)
