The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the UGC NET Admit Card for candidates scheduled to appear on January 3, January 5, January 6, and January 7, 2026. The NTA UGC NET admit card can be downloaded on its official website https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in/. It is to be noted that the agency will conduct the UGC-NET December 2025 Examination for 85 subjects in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode at different cities across the country on December 31, 2025, January 02, 2026, January 03, January 05, 2026, January 06, 2026, and January 07, 2026. It is to be noted that the released UGC NET exam city slip and UGC NET admit card are two different documents.

Candidates are advised to download their admit card along with the undertaking from the official website https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in/ using their login credentials.

How to download the UGC NET Admit card?

  • Visit the official website of NTA UGC NET at https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in/.
  • Click on the link, “UGC-NET: Admit Card for exam is Live.”
  • Enter the login details such as application number, date of birth, and security pin.
  • Your UGC NET Admit Card 2025 will appear on the screen.
  • Download and take a printout of it for future reference.
  • The Candidates are advised to keep visiting the official websites of NTA www.nta.ac.in and https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in// , for the latest updates.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been entrusted by the University Grants Commission (UGC) with the task of conducting UGC-NET, which is a Test to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for ‘Award of Junior Research Fellowship’ ,  ‘Appointment as Assistant Professor’, ‘Appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to Ph.D.’ and ‘Admission to Ph.D. only’ in Indian Universities and Colleges. The UGC-NET is being conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode w.e.f. December 2018 onwards.
