UP: 19,000 Home Guards to be Recruited Next Month, Says State Minister Anil Rajbhar

The demand for home guards has now begun in Railways, Metro and also in government institutions. Given the increasing demand for home guards, next year, new home guards will be recruited.

New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh Homeguard Minister Anil Rajbhar announced on Sunday that at least 19,000 posts for home guards had recently opened up. Rajbhar said that the Central Government is going to recruit as many as 19,000 home guards in the coming month. The state minister of UP with independent charge said that there has been a 40 per cent increase in honorarium of home guards.

Rajbhar said, “The demand for home guards has now begun in Railways, Metro and also in government institutions. Given the increasing demand for home guards, next year, new home guards will be recruited. The BJP government has increased the honorarium of the home guards by nearly hundreds of rupees, which has increased the honorarium of home guards at around four thousand rupees per month.

State Minister Rajbhar further said, “The government is working on creating the Home Guard wing on the Indo-Nepal border. For this, I have met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh several times. ” Rajbhar said that the Home Minister’s attitude is positive and after the formation of this wing, 15 thousand youth will be able to get employment.
