2022: Cancelled Class 12 English Exam in 24 Districts To Be Held on April 13

Uttar Pradesh Board class 12 Exam 2022: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) on Wednesday cancelled Class 12 English examination in 24 districts due to an alleged paper leak. For the unversed, the UP Board Class 12th English exam was scheduled to be held from 2 PM to 5 PM on March 30, 2022. The UPMSP began the class 10, 12 board exams on March 24. The examination that will continue till April 12, will be conducted in pen and paper mode in 8873 examination centers across the state this year.

To curb cheating during the UP school board exams 2022, the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Siksha Parishad (UPMSP) has set up a control room that will monitor footage from CCTV cameras installed at centers across the state.

UP Board Exams 2022: Exam Timings And Other Details

  1. The examinations for class 10 and 12, conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Sikhsa Parishad (UPMSP), will be held in two shifts.
  2. Exams in the morning shift will be held between 8 am and 11:15 am while the timings of the evening shift will be from 2 pm to 5:15 pm.
  3. A total of 27,81,654 students have registered for Class 10 exams this year, of which 12,28,456 are female students and 15,53,198 are boys.
  4. Similarly, a total of 24,11,035 students have registered for Class 12 this year, of which 10,86,835 are female and 13,24,200 are male students.
  5. In all, 51,92,689 students have registered for the UP board exams.
  6. A total of 8,373 exam centers have been made across the state for the exam.
  7. Of these 6,398 centres are in rural areas and 1,975 are located in the urban areas.
  8. The state government has declared 861 exam centers’ sensitive’ and 254 as ‘very sensitive’, while 7,258 as have been declared as general.
