New Delhi, Mar 26: The education system in the country is mostly in the news for all the wrong reasons. From mass cheating to teachers helping students in exam halls, the internet has leaked a lot of such stories.  These days Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Board is doing evaluation of answer sheets of recently conducted board examinations of Class 10 and 12.

While going through a answer sheet in Muzaffarnagar, an invigilator came across one such copy in which a student has written love letter to pass the examination. In the letter he said that he was not able to study because of his love and requested examiner to pass him. But it did not stop, at some centre students has attached Rs 100 notes as bribe to invigilators to make them pass while some requested saying that their parents are not alive. This shows how much students have irresponsible and don’t take their studies seriously.

The Uttar Pradesh board exam 2018 for class 10 and 12 are likely to be declared very soon. The evaluation process for the class 10 and 12 board exams began from March 17. A total of 1.46 lakh examiners are involved in the evaluation process of the students. The results, according to a report, are expected to be out in the third week of April 2018.

This year, a total of 11,28,250 students did not appear for the exams sue to strictness the UP government had adopted to prevent cheating and other such practices. This left only 66,37,018 students — 36,55,691 for class 10 and 29,81,327 students for class 12 — to appear for the board exams.

The examination for Class 10 students concluded on February 22 while the last examination for Class 12 or Intermediate examination was held on March 12.
