July 27, 2017: Uttar Pradesh Government led by Yogi Adityanath has taken a decision to probe into the recruitments done through Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission, UPPSC since 2012. UP Government will approach CBI to investigate the matter. On July 19, Yogi Adityanath ordered a probe by an “impartial agency” which will include all the recruitment made by the UPPSC during the erstwhile Akhilesh Yadav government in its periphery. During a discussion meeting over the annual budget 2017-18, the decision was taken. “The government will go for a CBI probe in the matter. What have you done to the UPPCS… its credibility is in question. We will get all the appointments made in the UPPCS since 2012 probed by the CBI,” said a senior cabinet member. The exam conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPBPB) was cancelled due to the allegations of paper leak. UPPBPB will release the new dates on the official website. The recruitment process in ongoing as of now. Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) is carrying out the recruitment for various office assistant and stenographer posts. Following the order of Yogi Adityanath, the Central Bureau of Investigation will probe into the appointments of UPPSC only. The recruitment of other departments has not been taken into account.
