New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh police constable written examination would be conducted today in Moradabad. Around 73,000 students are expected to write the examination. Security arrangements have been made to avoid any untoward incident during the examination. There are 29 exam centres and all are under CCTV surveillance.
Police have divided the city into four zones. SSP, Jay Ravinder Gaud, said that all the preparations have been done for the examination. The examination will be held on Sunday and Monday. In all the four zones, separate officer and the magistrate have been deputed. Apart from this, an observer level officer has been deputed.
Candidates are requested to bring only admit card with them and no other things are allowed in the examination hall. Biometric machines have been installed for the checking. At the examination hall, 35 sub-inspectors will be deployed.
As the candidates will be coming from far off areas, traffic jam is likely to happen in the city. To combat any such situation, traffic police have been deputed at every main intersection.
Do’s and Don’ts for the examination
It must be noted that the students must reach the examination centre 10 minutes at the center.
Students are expected to carry admit card only with them.
Only black and blue ballpoint pens are allowed at the examination centre, hence students must also carry an extra pair of either blue or black ballpoint pens.
The total number of vacancy is 49,568 posts. Selected candidates will get a salary of Rs 5,200 to 20,200 per month with Grade Pay amounting to Rs 2,000. In 2018, the total number of vacant seats was 41520 posts.
