UP Police Exam Result 2018: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) is likely to declare the recruitment results for UP Resident Citizen Police and Reservoir Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) on Tuesday,i.e, December 4, 2018. Candidates who took the exam are advised to check the official website of UPPRPB: uppbpb.gov.in.
Follow the steps below to check the results of the UP Police Recruitment Exam 2018:
Step 1: Log on to the official website of the UP Police Recruitment Board – uppbpb.gov.in
Step 2: On the top navigation menu on the homepage, select the Results tab.
Step 3: You will receive a notification for the UP Resident Citizen Police and PAC written examination result.
Step 4: Click on the notification. Now you will be directed to a new page.
Step 5: A PDF page containing details of selected candidates will be displayed.
Step 6: Enter all the necessary details such as registration number or date of birth. Your results will be displayed.
Step 7: Download the results and take a print out of the same for future use.
As per the UPPRPB notification, the number of candidates who will qualify for the document verification round is expected to be 1.5 times that of the advertised vacancies.
A report by Times of India stated that the short-listed candidates will appear for document verification and physical standard test (PST) which is scheduled to be held from December 5 at 18 test centres located across – Kanpur city, Jhansi, Gorakhpur, Basti, Gonda, Lucknow, Ayodhya, Agra, Aligarh, Bareilly, Moradabad, Meerut, Saharanpur, Varanasi, Azamgarh, Mirzapur, Prayagraj, and Banda.
The admit card for the physical skill test is available for download from December 4 onward.
The written examination took place in two shifts on June 18 and 19, 2018. The exam was to fill a total number of 41520 posts that were vacant in the state.
