The University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) has commenced the application procedure for its MBA programme. The university offers 10 programmes under high growth sectors, College of Management & Economics Studies (CoMES) and UPES. The Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds would commence from April 29, 2016 and would end on May 01, 2016. Eligibility for UPES MBA GD-PI rounds: Candidates who have minimum 50 per cent of marks in class 10, 12 and graduation can apply for this programme. Candidates should also have valid scores in any of the national entrance tests or UPESMET-2 can appear for the Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Candidates waiting for their final year result are also eligible to apply. Candidates can apply online or directly approach the authorities on mail/mobile in order to appear for UPES GD-PI rounds. Or candidates are free to visit the GD-PI venue directly. Candidate participating in the GD-PI rounds is expected to produce all the original documents (Class 10, 12, and Graduation) for the verification process along with Rs.1750 in cash for prospectus and application form along with one passport size photograph.
Candidates should know that ones having minimum CAT score of 70 Percentile/ MAT score of 75 Percentile will be exempted from UPES Management Entrance Test and would require to appear only for Group Discussion & Interview. NMAT score of should be 160 at least. It is mandatory for all the shortlisted candidates to appear for the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) for admission to MBA 2016-18 batch.
