New Delhi, Mar 27: The Union Public Service Commission has announced the results of the Combined Defence Services Examination (I), 2018. A total of 8,261 candidates have cleared the written examination. The UPSC Combined Defence Services Examination, CDS (I) was held on February 4.

 Qualifying candidates will be called for interview by the Service Selection Board of the Ministry of Defence, for admission to Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala, Air Force Academy, Hyderabad (Pre-Flying) Training course, Officers Training Academy, Chennai and Officers Training Academy, Chennai , 23rd SSC Women (Non- Technical) course.

How to check the result:

The result of Combined Defence Services Examination (I), 2018 can be checked by visiting the UPSC website at By clicking on Written Results section, a PDF file appears and one needs to download the file to get one’s result.

All the candidates who have qualified the written examination need to register themselves at the online portal of Indian Army Recruiting website at , within two weeks, starting from the date the results were announced.

Combined Defence services Examinations are held twice a year by UPSC to recruit fresh unmarried men/women for admissions into the Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Indian Air Force Academy and Officers Training Academy.
