New Delhi, Jan 3: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will be conducting the recruitment test for shortlisting candidates for the recruitment of Officer/ Accounts Officer in Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation, Ministry of Labour & Employment on February 2, 2017. The notification for the recruitment was released on June 4, 2016 and the application process ended on June 23, 2016. A total of 257 vacancies will be filled by this recruitment process. Candidates who will qualify the recruitment test will have to submit the documents in support of their claim for the post. The time duration of the recruitment test will be two hours. The exam will be conducted in both Hindi and English. The questions will be objective in nature. The total marks will be 100. Incorrect answers will attract negative marking. The syllabus of the Test comprises of General English, Indian Freedom Struggle, Current Events and Developmental Issues, Indian Polity and Economy, General Accounting Principles, Industrial Relations and Labour Laws, General Science & Knowledge of Computer Applications, General Mental Ability & Quantitative Aptitude and Social Security in India. Candidates will be informed about the venue of the recruitment test shortly. The Union Public Service Commission will prepare the merit on the basis of recruitment test and interview.
