Recently, the candidates who have opted for Srinagar as their examination centre should note that the government of Jammu and Kashmir has intimated that almost all the educational institutes of Srinagar are submerged or marooned and based on the advice of the government; the commission has decided to cancel the Srinagar centre. Candidates appearing for UPSC NDA II written exam need to carry their admit card, a valid ID card, clip board or hard board. It is important the candidates do not carry mobile phone, pagers etc among others.
Candidates are required to remember that there will be negative marking in the exam. One-third marks will be deducted from the total score of the candidate for each wrong answer or answers with more than one response. Hence, if you don’t know answer to a question, leave it blank as un-attempted questions do not carry penalty marks.
The details like name, roll number should be filled accurately in the answer sheet form. Candidates should make sure that their copies are neat and tidy as the answer sheets will be evaluated by machines.
