UPSC Notification 2019: UPSC began its online registration for the Prelims exam from Tuesday, February 19, 2019, onwards. Interested candidates are advised to check the official website- and register for the same. A total of 896 vacancies have been announced in the official notification including 39 vacancies reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disability Category.

Candidates must note that there will be penalty (negative marking) for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the Objective Type Question Papers.

A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years on August 1, 2019, i.e., he must have been born not earlier than August 2, 1987, and not later than August 1, 1998.

Steps to apply for UPSC Prelims 2019:

Step 1: Visit the official website-

Step 2: Click on the link which reads- ‘UPSC Prelims 2019’.

Step 3: Enter your details and submit.

Step 4: Download the registration form.

Step 5: Take a print out of it for future use.
